I believe that every kid when given the opportunity can be great at anything - and when they believe in themselves, that they have the capability to pursue their passions; then they do and it just makes the world a better place. Through Inner Light, we want to eliminate isolation and powerlessness in each individual, creating a stronger community where each person has a sense of belonging, contribution, and purpose.

I believe the key to positive change is collaboration. The whole idea of working with and empowering can be a great learning experience for any individual. With their creativity, curiosity, honesty, and passion, kids have skills and attributes that define leadership. With that said, this initiative presents the perfect opportunity for us, as youth leaders to create opportunities of growth for the generation following us.

Inner Light Foundation was started to help all sorts of kids. I believe that maintaining healthy relationships is a vital aspect of life - and this is especially true for a child, who is still growing and learning. Sometimes all a kid needs is that one person to be there for them. Through Inner Light, I want to be that person who can put a smile on a kid's face.

When Gian first approached me about Inner Light, I was more than excited about it. Getting the opportunity to work with kids like this is so much fun, and knowing that I'm having a positive impact in the community is just a bonus. There's nothing more I want to do than to see these kids succeed in life in such a way that they enjoy doing so; each one has the ability to change the world. I'm glad to be a part of something amazing here.
